TSIA2 Remote Testing

This test is specifically for Students who have applied and been accepted to South Plains College and cannot test in person at a South Plains College testing site.

The sections offered are MATH and ELAR (reading and writing) and essay.

There is an additional $28.00 proctor fee for testing remotely, in addition to the SPC testing fee of $33.00. The proctoring will be handled through Measure Learning’s ProctorU.

Testing Requirements

  • You must have access to your South Plains College email.
  • You must have an application on file with South Plains College.
  • You must have a valid, unexpired picture ID (i.e., driver’s license, state ID, military, passport, or current school ID).
  • You must complete the Mandatory Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA) BEFORE you request a voucher.
  • Register and pay for the TSIA2 assessment remote testing.
    • Email testing@southplainscolllege.edu the following documents when you request a remote testing voucher:
    • Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA) certificate or email confirmation. PAA instructions are below.
    • Register Blast test registration email confirmation

Mandatory Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA)

  • Go to: https://practice.accuplacer.org/login.
  • Select – Don’t have an account to complete the PAA.
  • Select Texas Success Initiative 2.0 Pre-Assessment Activity (TSIA2 – PAA)
  • Even if only testing one section - You must complete all steps and answer both the English and Math practice tests to receive your PAA Certificate.
  • Once you have completed the PAA, you will receive an email confirmation.

TSIA2 Assessment Information

Sections on the test: Math and ELAR - reading and writing components combined with the essay.

If you decide you would like to test again, you are welcome to register and pay for any part of the TSIA2 as many times as you want.

If you have retained your PAA certificate, you can use it each time you test.

Upon Testing Remotely

Your scores will automatically be submitted to South Plains College Admissions within 2 business days after the test is completed.

We will notify you through your SPC email once your scores have been processed.

If you are not successful or do not remember your information, you can complete the score report release form on our Testing website:

 http://www.southplainscollege.edu/testing/. Please email a signed copy of the form and a copy of your DL to 

testing@southplainscollege.edu and allow 24-48 business hours for it to be forwarded.
