Memorials and Tributes

A memorial gift to education is a lasting way to honor a loved one. Memorial gifts and tributes may be given in cash or check contributions from relatives, friends, alumni, employers, friends of the college, and civic, social and fraternal organizations. These gifts are used to help promising SPC students achieve their educational pursuits.

Memorial gifts that are not designated for an existing scholarship program held by the South Plains College Foundation are placed in the Hall of Honor Scholarship Fund.

The Office of Development is responsible for maintaining records of all gifts to the memorial fund and will provide the family with a beautiful card acknowledging those who have given in memory of their loved one. Receipts and acknowledgements are sent to those who donate, as well. The amount of any gift is kept confidential between the individual donors and the Office of Development.
