MuleshoeTesting
- All students who are trying to apply for the Muleshoe Licensed Vocational Nursing Program MUST take ACCUPLACER as the entrance exam. Students must take and pass ACCUPLACER Reading, LVN Math, Communication, and English.
- Students CANNOT take THEA, ASSET or COMPASS to apply for the Vocational Nursing Program nor can they be exempt.
- Test fee for ACCUPLACER is $35.00 (for four sections), $30.00 (for three sections) and $20.00 (for one or two sections).
- The Muleshoe LVN Program will begin accepting completed applications on April 1, 2009. The deadline to apply for the Fall 2009 Vocational Nursing Class is May 28, 2009 at noon. Applications will not be accepted on Fridays.
- The department will accept students into the program on a "first come, first served" basis.
- Students may retest on ACCUPLACER twice a semester.
- Students may take the ACCUPLACER anywhere it is offered, but they must make sure that they take these sections of the exam: Reading Comprehension, Sentence Skills with the TX WritePlacer Essay, and Communication. They must also take the LVN Math Test offered only at South Plains College Campuses.
- Passing scores on ACCUPLACER in order to apply for the VOCATIONAL NURSING PROGRAM are:

Students may test at any time. Application packets are not yet available. You may contact Stacie Johnson at (806) 716-4626 beginning in mid July for testing requirements.
